Meet our family
Let us introduce ourselves. We want to make sure you and your pets are comfortable at our home. We are Mari and John. We're retired professionals who enjoy being active and involved. Mari's enjoys building websites, cardmaking, but her passion is animals. John enjoys many activities - woodworking, playing golf, volunteering with Placer County Search and Rescue, and he's our resident ball thrower!
Our Dog.......
Beau
Beau is our 9 month old golden retriever. Our first puppy! We adopted Beau from Homeward Bound Golden Retriever Rescue in June 2008. We've always adopted older dogs, but we thought we'd add a youngster now. Beau is an easy-going, normal puppy, and he loves other dogs. If your pup likes to play, Beau will welcome a new friend!
Our home......
We have a large back yard with a pool and lots of grass and trees. Your dog would be part of our family during their stay...they would have run of the house and yard (per your instructions), multiple play times throughout the day, and sleep in our room at night. We are mostly-retired and are home most of the day, so your dog would have lots of companionship while you are away.
What we can do for your dogs
Over the last 10 years, we have adopted 5 older dogs (and cared for many others), so we are familiar with caring for special needs dogs (blind, diabetic, aging, etc). If your dog has special needs, we would be happy to work with you to keep them comfortable and heathly while you are away.
